Today I logged onto to Facebook and saw someone had posted a photo of Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman ( I refuse to re-post the photo because it’s gross and dumb and fucked up). It shows Zimmerman’s mug shot beside a photo of a sweet Treyvon, below it is another pic of Zimmerman in a suit next to a blurry photo of a kid claiming to be Trayvon (although evidence proves otherwise) with baggy pants, shirtless giving the finger. Apparently it’s an attempt to say the media is using photos to skew our minds regarding this story. Um, A INNOCENT KID WAS KILLED! Who cares what anyone was wearing? This is the same insane bullshit people try to pull when a woman was raped “well, she did have on a skirt.”  I don’t know if the Treyvon shooting was a hate crime, but it was a crime and I was under the impression that when you commit a crime you get arrested. 

Then I log onto Twitter and see a post from Jezebel about the Hunger Games racist remarks and Tweets. Apparently people were upset that a character in the movie was black? (Read the horror here).

Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you! Not you, assuming you are a smart, compassionate, human being but FUCK YOU, to everyone who spreads hate.

Fuck you to the people who in 2012 still see race, gender, religion and sexual orientation as a reason to shame, discriminate, attack, abuse, and murder other human beings. HUMAN BEINGS you fucking assholes! Had your father shot his wad in another woman maybe you’d be a different race or ethnicity or class. It’s that simple, it’s that true. We are all equal, stop thinking that the ability to check a certain box on the census make you special, it doesn’t. You know what makes people special? Being a good, kind, fair, person. That is special! Fuck you to the disgusting people who use the web to spread evil, to the anonymous commenter’s who have turned one of the most amazing inventions in the world into a breeding ground of negativity and a place to be a coward, to the dumb pieces of shit who have nothing better to do than go online and make the world worse than it already is. (And if you think racism isn’t an issue just read the comments section on various FOX news stories). Fuck you politics for bringing out the absolute worst in people, the most hypocritical garbage in people. Fuck you righteous politicians who think rape babies are a “gift from God” and can look a veteran in the eye and tell him doesn’t have the right to marry because he is gay. Fuck you anyone who has ever made fun of or beat up someone because they are gay. Fuck you anyone who has beat up anyone. Fuck you fairness that Zimmerman still hasn’t been arrested but the the woman who threw flour at Kim Kardashian was immediately taken away in cuffs- good I feel so safe now. Fuck you shitty reality TV for destroying the definition of talent and entertainment.  Fuck you entertainment industry for continuing to exclude women from positions of power, fewer opportunities and less money. Fuck you to everyone who has passed on me and many other talented female comics because we are women . I know, I know I’m suppose to shut up because we got Bridesmaids or whatever, but fuck you to the idiot who wrote to me in an email “we’re looking to fill the female writer position on our show” and fuck you to the guys who wink and smile and introduce women to the stage saying something like “sorry but here’s another dumb cunt to bore you, but at least she’s got tits” , fuck you to the countless articles about and questions regarding “are women funny?” here’s my answer- fuck you! And fuck you to the pieces of shit who can’t handle booking two strong women, or two strong gay comics or two strong similarly ethnic comics on a line-up because that suddenly makes it a theme show but yet a line-up of white men is just called a show. Fuck you to the TV producers and casting folks who only book the safest most Caucasian looking ethnic actors to play “ethnic” roles. Fuck you to the producers and casting folks that still cast ethnic actors only as “the wacky Asian lady” or “the wacky Indian guy.” Fuck you people who celebrate celebrities that have beaten women yet because they gave America a half-assed apology they are given work, money, fame and admiration. Fuck you to the people who make it scary for women to walk alone because she might be harassed or attacked. Fuck you to the people that are raping women every 46 seconds in the US. Fuck you to the parents of the teenage girl I overheard on the subway telling her friend that she is afraid to go home because her parents will beat her again. Fuck you to the parents of her friend who  agreed and said he too gets beat by his parents. Fuck you people who treat your kids like punching bags. After reading those last two sentences, fuck you anyone who is against birth control. Fuck you male-only congressional meetings for making decisions about my vagina. Fuck!!!!!

I just wish we could all “treat others the way we wanted to be treated.” Imagine that? How delightful would life be if we all just had basic respect for each other? Fuck us, if we can’t make that happen.
